Happy New Year Crappy Fans! Crappy Records is launching a new series of compilation albums in 2012. The first, “Have A Crappy Summer,” will feature new summer themed tracks from Crappy friends including Bowling For Soup, Nerf Herder, Linus of Hollywood, Jarinus and more. The album is in pre-production now and expected to be released in June 2012 - just in time for you to Have a Crappy Summer!

Jarinus Rocks The World!

Congratulations to Jaret and Linus on their successful Kickstarter campaign! 2012 is going to be the year of Jarinus! The “ambiguously straight” duo of Jaret Reddick (Bowling For Soup) and producer Linus Of Hollywood teamed up to form this epic comedic supergroup and are releasing their debut album this summer.

MC Lars 21 Concepts

“21 Concepts (But a Hit Ain’t One)” was begun in the summer 2004 and completed in the winter of 2010. The album’s title comes from a track called “21 Concepts” from the 2006 release “the Graduate” in which I rapped about twenty-one left-of-center lyric ideas. “The songwriting process is a lot like Tetris,” I say whenever I play the song live, “sometimes you’ve got to stack up your writer’s blocks.” – MC Lars, January 2011
